The Crater Lake area is officially divided into lake clusters of Fort Portal, Kasenda-Ndali, Katwe-Kikorongo, and Bunyaruguru. Kasenda-Ndali area , about 30 kilometers south from Fort Portal, has the highest number of lakes.
